Yop (AR)

Yésica Di Rubba aka Yop (AR) is a DJ, Producer and Podcaster from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her musical preference is oriented to Progressive House, with variants also in Melodic House, Deep House and Organic House. Her passion for mixing began in 2015, but it was not until 2022 she decided to study professionally and graduated from the Sónica music academy as a DJ/Producer. Her sets are progressive and characterized by having melodic overtones, ranging from nostalgia to groove; telling a story for every presentation is something he excels at. In this recent role he already had the opportunity to go through booths such as OBOK (ex Bahrein), Tera (Zegre), Shamrock Basement, Frere, Club Tucumán, Pylae, Downtempo, among others. Since 2020, he has been constantly learning when it comes to musical production, training with great mentors such as Mayro, Nicolas Petracca, Rodrigo Lapena, Soundprocess, among others. In April 2024, its first release came out, participating in the V.A. Deep & Natural Vol. 9 from Bodai's Amitabha label, with the track called Cuarzo, co-produced with Berdu Dj. She has a self-managed podcast program called Music is the Answer, where debates, reflections and anecdotes arise from his experiences in the world of electronic music. She also conducts various interviews with great exponents of the underground such as Mayro, Nicholas Van Orton, among others.
