Yara M

Yara Muhrez aka "Yara. M" is one of the few female DJs who made a difference in the Electronic Music scene in Damascus city. Her Passion to Music led her to organize events back in 2009-2010 to introduce people in town to Electronic Music. That woken up the Musician inside her so she started playing Music at private parties in 2010, and she did so for years, at the same time she was finishing her Law Degree at Damascus University, and that wasn’t easy for people to understand at that time, but that didn’t stop her from doing both plus so many other things… and it turned out to be just Great! Her first public events were in Lebanon in 2013, While she lived there for a year. When she moved back to Damascus she started to work harder on her Music, and did many events in several venues. She’s well known for her extended sets that flows up from Electronica- Deep House- Tech House to Progressive House & Techno. With an oriental twist, spiritual & soulful melodies… Her dream is to spread the Music in her country and all over the world because she believes that Music is the key for a world free from violence and Hate, full of Peace & Love!
