Vincent Furlong

Born into the electronically influenced era of the 80′s, Vincent Furlong was destined to play, create and manipulate music and has shown a talent for this from an early age. At 16 he was given his first set of turntables which he spent countless hours on, learning and mastering his craft. He played many house parties in his youth which had later evolved into into playing some of Dublin's most well known underground nightclubs and venues Including the Voodoo Lounge, Spy, Wax, Temple bar Music Center, Spirit Nightclub and Traffic, but playing other peoples music just wasn’t enough for this hungry young artist and so began a new evolution in his musical career. Before long he found himself studying sound engineering in Dublin which had only fueled his passion for production further, after his time in school he went on to further develop his skillset in his home studio from a musical point of view. It wasn’t until recently that his studio evolved along with his sense of perspective and desire to understand the intricacies of engineering. Now, with a new found understanding and respect for all things audio, Vincent is ready to share his abilities and vision with the world. Vincent's taste in music is quite vast and his respect for artists and musicians with a unique take on sound is immense, but when it comes to dance music production it’s the deep, melodic and techy tracks that turn his head. His first track is due for release on Sleepless Nights Recordings which will see him working with fellow label founder and co-owner Stephen Hogg (Soulfinder) on both an original and remix. the "Global Communications E.P" is sure to create some buzz as this is the debut release by this young talented producer, and of course the very first release from SNR. Expect big things from this young Dub in the very near Future.
