Tom Rawcus

Tom Rawcus is a Melbourne based DJ only 12 months young to his Technics. Don't be fooled by his infancy, Tom has nothing better to do but source the sleaziest cocaine inspired dance music, and nowhere better to be than behind the decks playing it. Gliding from flamboyant Italian disco to psychedelic rock house to deep house and then back to disco, Tom is obsessed with the story telling nature of a mix. Thus his genre can be hard to peg. He conjures a protagonist and takes them on a journey of highs, lows, reflections an resolutions. You may find yourself starting one, and 30min in asking yourself "How did we arrive here exactly?" You can catch him weirding out white collars every Saturday night at La La Land in the CBD, lost in a world of his own and thrusting to the sound of his own beat.
