Titch

Biography

Tîtch (Geoff Foley) is a Waterford, Ireland-based DJ and producer, and one half of Between Ourselves and D&G. With a musical palette that shifts naturally with the setting, mood and energy of the dance floor, Tîtch moves fluidly between House, Deep House, Afro House, Melodic House, Electronica, Downtempo and Indie Dance. His approach to DJing is rooted in versatility, emotion and a strong connection with the crowd, allowing each set to take its own direction. His musical journey has been shaped by artists including Mano Le Tough, Dixon, Âme, Henrik Schwarz, Kerri Chandler, Atjazz, Jimpster, Ian Pooley, Sven Vath, Job Jobse, Dj Tennis, Patrice Baumel, Axel Boman, John Talabot and Stimming. Artists whose influence continues to resonate throughout his own sound and approach. Having been DJing for almost 15 years, Geoff has also played an important role in Waterford's electronic music scene. Since 2014, he has been behind Esoteric, a series that has brought together local and international talent across a variety of venues throughout the city. Esoteric has welcomed artists including The Element, Dave DK, André Lodemann, Job Jobse, Love Over Entropy, Kris Davis, Sahar, Wayne Duggan and Neil Flynn, alongside many more artists admired by the series. The name Tîtch carries a deeply personal meaning for Geoff. “Tîtch is the name I adopted after my beautiful father passed away in 2023. It was a nickname my dad was known by over the years, and one I was very fond of. He had many nicknames, but this one made the most sense to me after everything. I wanted to carry his name with me until the end of time in everything I do. He knew how much I loved music and how much this musical journey means to me, and adopting Tîtch felt like a way of keeping a part of him with me as I continue that journey.”
