The ByPass Kid

The ByPass Kid has graced many dance floors since the very first night of Hot at the legendary Hacienda in 1988. A well-respected artist based in Manchester under the guise of Dionysus Art, he turned his hand to DJing under the pseudonym The ByPass Kid while recovering from major heart surgery in 2024. His experiences on the dance floor have shaped his ability to create immersive, melodic journeys that blend driving rhythms with atmospheric soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from the deeper, more emotional side of electronic music, he crafts sets that balance energy and storytelling, taking listeners from hypnotic grooves to euphoric peaks. With a passion for discovering fresh sounds and connecting with audiences through music, he has developed a distinctive style that combines progressive house influences with modern electronic elements. Each set is carefully designed to create a memorable experience, keeping the dance floor moving and the crowd engaged. Dedicated to pushing creative boundaries while staying true to the roots of progressive house, The ByPass Kid continues to build a reputation as an emerging talent within the electronic music scene, delivering thoughtfully crafted performances that resonate long after the final track fades.
