Biography
A big Indie Kid in 1988 but on hearing "Dreams of Santa Anna" and "Pacific State", the conversion to a House fan started. Most weekends through University were spent traveling up to Leeds to go to Ark, then Up Yer Ronson and Back to Basics. After moving to Leeds, I scraped together enough cash to buy 1xSL1200 and a mixer, borrowing a hifi turntable from a friend! Months and months of practice later, I managed to put together a mixtape that didn't make people leave the room, and was well and truly bitten by the DJing bug. Most of my money and time in the 90s went on records and clubbing, seeing some of the finest DJs from around the world. Playing at parties and the odd night out was always really enough for me. After a 10 year break I returned to DJing, but this time using TraktorPro instead of turntables, and obviously the internet had changed everything. I don't miss spending £10 on a double pack import where I only want one track, but I do miss "finding that gem" in a Record shop. Since coming back to DJing, my mixes have been played on Kick Radio and Twisted Energy, and downloaded from over 100 countries.
