As her artistic name implies, DJ SOL is a flow of light, energy and warmth, filling the airwaves with music and rhythm or as she describes her music: “So many layers of my soul peeling away”. A Production Manager and Musical Artist based in Los Angeles, Sofia began her career as a DJ in 2018, skyrocketing from the United States, Mexico and Latin America, where she had previously shimmered as a fashion model in her early years and later, after she finished Business in Operation Management degree, working behind the scenes at different events, acquiring the skills needed to produce events with in-depth understanding of behind-the-scene production and customer service, namely for regional festivals as SXSW (Texas) and Artbasel and in California for REVOLVE, Neon Carnival, PUMA. After her Burning Man debut as DJ in 2018, she has been featured in KXLU Radio, Dash Radio (LA), Art Basel (Miami), SXSW (Austin), Sundance Film Festival (Utah), and at well-known clubs in LA, Hollywood like The Sayers Club, Madam Siam, Pattern Bar, Norah, Toca Madera, Nameless, Elephante Temple Tuesday, Gheist, Alkemika and many more. Other events where she has dazzled include Proyecto Tulum (Miami), Soundwaves (Utila), Tulum and Burning Man. SOL starred at Art Basel 2019, playing for Alegria Community, Proyecto Tulum, & Astra Miami. She continued with Intercontinental Hotel residency in Honduras 2020. SOL debuted in Costa Rica playing for Electric Animals and Selvatica, after working Artists Management for Envision Festival. SOL continues working as Creative Director and CEO of Sol Nativus Production Agency and her studies in Music Production and looking forward to releasing her first EP.
