Inspired by the idyllic surroundings of Norfolk (UK), where he resides, Scotty.A is an electronic music producer and DJ. He brings hypnotic, melody driven house and techno to a global audience. His sound is a hypnotic amalgamation of different elements designed to take the listener on a unique journey. Exclusive remixes, bootlegs and productions unavailable to other artists set him aside and give him a unique edge. With more than ten thousand genuine likes on his Facebook artist page and almost three thousand well-earned followers on Soundcloud his popularity across the world is rising by the week. Since he was announced as the unanimous winner of the Global Underground bedroom producer competition (sponsored by Mixmag) in 2009, Scotty has developed an ever evolving sound driven by an extraordinary passion for music. With regular support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren amongst many others, his productions have evolved to reach a global audience. Scotty.A's work features on labels such as ‘Paper Jet’, ‘Tanzbar Digital’, ‘Tulipa’, Manual Music’, ‘Proton Music’, Armada's ‘Electronic Elements’ to name just few. His competition winning remix of Denis A's, ‘Heroin’ featured on John Digweed's world famous Transitions show. He has quickly risen through the ranks to play regular gigs across the UK and further afield in Europe, South America and beyond. After completing multiple tours of Argentina, Scotty has established residencies for the hugely successful underground promotion ‘Terminal’ in Bournemouth (UK), and ‘Ca-na’ in his home city of Norwich; gaining a reputation for delivering quality underground electronic music to packed dancefloors. With official remixes for the legendary Barry Jamieson and Oliver Lieb under his belt Scotty is looking forward into 2016 and beyond to establish his name in the underground scene. By continuing to develop and evolve his productions he aims to offer his fans across the world music packed with tension, subtle melodies and most importantly groove.
