Scott Bailey
Biography
Scott's first introduction to electronic music was back in the late 80s, seeing Jean Michel Jarre's 'Destination Docklands' concert on TV. It wasn't until finding Pete Tong's Radio 1 shows that dance music took over. An early favourite was Paul Oakenfold with his Goa and Global Underground mixes. From there he started buying vinyl before he even had a set of turntables, spending more time at Rite-On Records in Taunton (long since gone) than in college. Delving deeper into the Global Underground series he became obsessed with Sasha & Digweed contributions. During the Covid lockdown, he started making mixes to share online, posting them on the Jaded Clubbers forum. After a couple of invites to play the Friday Night Guest Mix on Mixpub Radio station, he held an 8-month residency called 'Therapy Sessions' with them.
