Saebo is a captivating performer and an innovative music creator hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia, and currently based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Raised in the 80s by a Dutch family, Saebo was surrounded by a rich auditory landscape that became a profound source of inspiration. His musical journey spans an impressive range of genres, from classical and rock to ambient sounds and healing frequencies. The era of homemade mixtapes and the rise of electronic music, especially synthesizers and analog instruments, sparked his creativity. Influential artists like Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, and Kraftwerk left a lasting impression on him. Soon, he was playing melodies on his home keyboard, diving into the endless possibilities of sound. When Saebo moved to Utrecht, he invested in a set of Technics turntables during a sabbatical and taught himself the art of vinyl DJing. What began with trance music quickly evolved into a deep passion for house and techno. This marked the beginning of a vibrant DJ career that saw him perform at renowned clubs and festivals across the Netherlands and beyond. After several years behind the decks, he made the bold decision to leave his day job and focus solely on his passion for music. Driven to explore music even further, Saebo dedicated himself to learning the craft of music production. It wasn’t an easy journey—countless late nights and technical challenges lay ahead—but after years of hard work, he perfected a sound that speaks to the soul. Rooted in electronic music, yet always melodic, his productions have become a reflection of his musical essence. In 2022, Saebo’s career took a significant leap forward as he co-hosted the Melomani event alongside Sylva de Luna at Club NL, one of Amsterdam's premier nightclubs. This vibrant event, featuring melodic and progressive sounds, quickly became a favorite, with guest DJs adding their unique energy to the mix. This year, Saebo is embracing new challenges—both personally and musically—alongside Sylva. His journey is one of exploration, creativity, and a relentless desire to share his experiences with the world.
