r33f is the moniker Jimmy Hackett uses for the Cirque Noir events as one of their Ringleaders of Sound. Learning music was his interest at the young age of 9 in Chicago, he remembers recording B96 shows in the late hours of the night, and listening to the Hot Mix 5, and later Frankie Knuckles, and eventually Bad Boy Bill. Consistently keeping up with Europe’s developing house & trance scene of the early and mid-90’s, working in clubs with Houston’s underground scene DJ’s like Michael De Grace and Leroy Peters, the decision to embed music in his life forever became a goal of his, and music production was the fire to light that path. The world of music has and always will be a strong force in r33f’s life. Being accepted as a member of the dark circus and theatric-encompassing Cirque Noir team, his mission is simple: touch as many people with the Cirque Noir experience, through music. Look for him and the circus coming to a town near you.
