Paulo Rivera

Paulo Rivera from Lima Peru started in music from a young age, frequenting record stores where little by little he felt a great interest in bands such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Simply Red. In the period from 1995 to 1998, his musical genres were around favorites to Hip Hop, Grunge and new wave. It was in mid-1999 that he had a strong affinity and respect for electronic music, from his knowledge only the sets produced by the great DJs of the time such as Paul Oakendfold, Hernán Cattaneo, Way Out West, Underworld, Satoshi Tomiie, Mara, Echomen, artists were who played in the clubs of the capital and their audience was attended by young people who are currently dedicated to following this genre and style, rescuing a little of each of those exponents of dance music in Lima. Starting his studies there in 2001 at the already dissolved electronic music school Ohm School, he began his career as a dj, throughout these years playing on occasions always respecting his original style Paulo Rivera goes on stage with his companions, creating parties where interacts with djs of other genres and sharing a stand in national and international radio stations. Today, his sessions are shown in different podcasts around the world, taking the foundations of the progressive that marked his beginnings, making his way and sharing space with other DJs around the world.
