Olaf van der Wacht

Olaf van der Wacht started as an all-round DJ in the 80’s. He built his entire DJ booth, amplifiers, lightshow and loudspeakers by himself with the help of some good friends. Entertaining people and bringing life and light to all kinds of happy occasions and even in theatres as supporting act to a well-known Dutch band. A failed effort to learn to play the guitar, drove him back to the record players and eventually a digital DJ booth with the focus on just enjoying the music and create occasional mixes for friends. A few years ago, the (Progressive) House germs got a hold of him. OLAF has been publishing monthly mixes, known by the name “Lucid Dreams” again, just for the fun of it. OLAF still performs at private parties (Amsterdam, Ibiza) and enjoys listening to sets from e.g., Guy J, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and many other Dutch professional amateurs.
