Miss M

With a background already based in classical piano Miss M started her musical journey in the school band on guitar in the early 90's where she was heavily influenced by the Seattle sound and bands such as Nirvana, Tool, Alice in Chains and RHCP. With a passion for the alternative side, she became quickly drawn to electronic music, starting with Trance and then onto the family of House (Deep and Tech) and Techno. After a ‘light bulb’ experience in Miami at WMC and Coachella, she decided it was time to channel her creativeness from Design into DJ’ing and she quickly became enamored with her new instrument and has never looked back. In 2013 Miss M has undertaken many new projects, producing and writing. Most notably Miss M has been crowned the 'Wild Card Winner of Your Shot’ - DJ Comp 2013, which saw her battle it out against an initial 6000 entries nationwide. Playing a Deep Tech House set that shone through in a sea of bangers, this placed her at the Avant Garde in the commercial competition, which saw her win the title. Miss M will hit the big stage in December 2013 for her biggest set yet - Stereosonic. Stay tuned for upcoming gigs and more.
