Michael Beiruty

It all started when I first discovered an island called Ibiza back in 2016, I used to be an engineering student in Beirut Lebanon at the time with a huge passion for music and never did anything about it. Until I went for a second year summer 2017 to IBIZA again, came to discover underground sounds and legends such as (Carl Cox, Loco Dice, Marco Carolla, Paco Osuna, The Martinez Brothers, John Digweed & Sasha..) It took me a whole year to realize that I wanted to become an artist and quit college, late 2018 I started to teach myself how to Produce and DJ. I fell in love with the dance floor and how everybody connected on the same energy, one love no hate no fakeness just having a unique memorable night all thanks to the person behind the decks, telling a story through selective tracks. And this is why in DJing I think track selection is as important as mixing, if both of these are impeccable, then the crowd would understand the story being told. I took this knowledge with me to events and clubs such as Projekt Club Beirut, Camping Les Colombes Amshit and Nomad Beach Club (with Verge Lebanon) Played along side 2 Internationals (Frank Kvitta & Naiive). I’ve made a small but memorable impression in Lebanon, now making my way in Dubai where I’m staying currently but ready to take on worldwide with Awen Records. I’m working on unreleased tracks at the moment, distributing them through DJs and producers, until they find a home, club or a memory to be shared in.
