Biography
Matias Carafa was born on December 18, 1982 in the city of Rosario, Argentina. It is one of the most prominent Dj's producers Rosario city, due to the professionalism that characterizes him. His dedication can be seen in each presentation where shows optimum mixing quality and unique combination of styles within electronic music. When he was very young he felt a great interest in music, and with only nine years old he could see bands like Queen and take them as musical reference. In his teens he met new genres and sounds, being impressed by styles such as Techno, House, Dance, Eurodance, personified by Dj Dero, Dr. Alban and La Bouche. Years later, when he began to listen to electronic tracks, Franco Cinelli and Nico Purman take a leading role in the musical direction of Matias, since for them awakened his interest in the mixtures. In 2005 got its first pair of turntables and experiment with discs Progressive House, Deep House and Tech House. Shortly launched his career as a DJ, and began to participate in the first private parties with their families. Finally internationally acclaimed artists such as Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo Satoshi end Tomiee and influencing their artistic direction, is today one of the Dj's icon Progressive Progressive House and Techno in the city of Rosario. His first public event was in 2007, at the club "La Ruta del Bacalao" from there began to appear in occasional events as guest DJ. Thanks to its excellent performance while maintaining its special groove, offered residence in Big Jump, during the 2007-2008 summer season. And here his name began to be known in the circle of DJ's. As I was gaining more experience in the trays, perfecting their mixtures, handling and linearity track in his sets, in 2008 give the residence of one of the clubs most important city: Shambala, and as he continued with that residence , also as resident pricked after hours most recognizable and legendary city "The Basement". Matias Carafa's career has grown considerably over the years, thanks to all the presentations that were emerging in clubs, bars and nightclubs in the city of Rosario. Rosario shared booth with artists like Martin Bonansea, Jonathan Okanto, Digital Industry, Jonatan Prado, Ashh, Jeremias jury Abity, Jonathan Ramonda, CPM, among others. In addition to Daneel, Jose Luis Gabin, Luis Callegari, John Paul Sgaglia, Marcelo Vassami, Nicholas van Orton, Romix, and in no time he shared booth with world renowned DJs such as John Digweed, Layo & Bushwacka!, Sander Kleinenberg, 16 Bit Lolitas, Franco Cinelli, Jerome Isma, John Aquaviva, Matthew Dekay, Thomas Penton, Oliver Giacomoto, Dousk, Cid Inc., among others.
