Maximus

Born in Rome, Italy, Maximus discovered his passion for music at the age of 12 when he picked up his first guitar. By 17, he was performing with a band at local venues, but everything changed in the late ‘80s rave scene. Captivated by the deep, experimental sounds of electronic music, he found his true calling. In the early 2000s, Maximus took his love for music further, buying his first set of decks and mastering the art of mixing. A few years later, alongside two friends, he launched a monthly club night in Edinburgh, spinning progressive house and tech trance to an ever-growing underground following. Now based on the South Coast, Maximus took a brief break before reigniting his passion in 2021 when he joined MixPub Radio, where he now hosts four shows, pushing boundaries in deep, hypnotic, and progressive sounds. Expect deep, driving beats, ethereal melodies, and seamless storytelling through music. Maximus isn’t just mixing tracks, he’s crafting journeys.
