Mario Bazouri

Over the last two years Mario has become one of the most engaging artists on the Dubai Scene joining the popular Disconekt Dubai & Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE family. As the future offers a whole world of opportunity, he's putting all his focus into his music! Lebanese-born and Spanish-bred DJ and producer Mario Bazouri grew up listening to everything from Michael Jackson to George Michael to Prince, before discovering Spanish Bacalao - techno, to you and me - in the early 90s while working as a PR at a Spanish disco bar. Making the move to Dubai, he helped define the region's club scene by organizing and promoting Deep Nights, bringing over names like Danny Tenaglia, Armand Van Helden, John Digweed, Erick Morillo and many more to the city. As well as being a highly-rated Black Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Practitioner and Competitor, he's now on the other side of the dancefloor as a DJ and producer. In a short space of time, he's become a resident DJ for some of the region's best underground nights including the world-famous Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE and Disconekt in Dubai, opening and closing for some of the biggest names in the business, while he's regularly booked for late-night sessions in Beirut and Bahrain. Inspired by DJs and producers like Dixon, Patrice Baumel, Fideles and Trikk, he's made the move into production with impressive results. Blending house and techno with rich Afro grooves, ethnic twists and dark, rising synths, he's had EPs and tracks signed to Voyeur Music, Baroque Records, Natura Viva, with many more coming in 2018 and beyond.
