Kevin Vega

Belgium was the place where house music exploded in the early nineties, build on the foundation of New Beat. It was in this era where Kevin Vega decided he wanted to be a part of the electronic music scene. Hailing from Antwerp, the place where clubs like Globe and La Rocca were visited by thousands of international clubbers, Kevin spend his time by searching for his sound. It was in club Illusion where he discovered Belgian Trance music in 1995. Later on, the trance sound evolved in progressive, mainly played in club Extreme in Brussels. DJ’s like Sasha and John Digweed became an inspiration, and after playing in Belgian Clubs and house parties, he decided to become even more involved by installing his own music studio. After a couple of years, he signed his first release on the famous Belgian Bonzai label, the home of acts like Push (Universal Nation), Airwave (Above the sky) and many others. His first release, Ballistic, received very good critics, and so he continued to refine his studio skills. More releases followed and with them, the remix requests. Nowadays, Kevin released over a dozen tracks, even more remixes, and new work is coming out regularly. His new EP will see the light this summer on Bonzai Progressive Records. His style can be described as Dark progressive, Deep house and a touch of electro and Tech-house. Music will always follow the heart.
