Keira

Keira was born in Italy and now resides in and has become a revered DJ in Milan, known for her driving techno-focused sets. Her productions have evolved in recent years to something unique, which keeps her roots in techno at the core, but incorporates lush, heartfelt, emotive melodic elements laid atop the gritty drums and groove which she fell in love with in 2008 when she had her first true exposure to techno on a grand scale during a visit to Bargain and Panorama Bar in Berlin. Keira has spent the past couple of years finding a home with Ibiza and Italy based Ampispazi Recordings, owned by Mik Santoro, who allowed the burgeoning artist the freedom of artistic expression she was looking for. Through the releases, remixes and other output she created with Ampispazi, she’s slowly refined her sound from a production standpoint to be one that is unique to her, and created what industry-folk would call her ‘signature sound’, something to which many artists struggle their entire careers attempting to find. As fate would have it, her output on Ampispazi led to a collaboration with James Teej when Santoro joined forces with Kev Obrien to form Eyedyllic Music. Keira and Teej’s After the Storm is a beautiful, tropical-esque serenade to the unknown, both melancholic and uplifting in nature, it’s a piece of work which embodies Keira’s sound to a tee and leaves her in excitement as she simultaneously works on her debut full-length artist album, which too will be released on Eyedyllic in 2018, and already features a stellar vocal collaboration with the highly sought-after singer and songwriter, Jinadu. The sky is the limit for Keira, a true phenom, and harbinger of originality and true artistic expression, in a world of carbon-copy producers chasing the charts. Stay tuned!
