Josh Von

For over 25 years Josh Von has been lo-key obsessed with the art of the underground DJ set. Von mixes are long and deep, meticulously harmonized ... tracks deconstruct / reconstruct in new sequences that skip back and forth through the waveforms ... ghostly samples weave in and out, appearing and reappearing over a hypnotically pulsing cinematic fusion powered bullet train of seduction. From countless late night blasts in Central Florida DJ booths and on the dancefloor ... to Ableton Live instruction for producers and DJ's worldwide .. to audio engineering / digital stage rig services for Brian Transeau (BT), Bill Hamel, Alexander 'Sasha' Coe's Involved charity benefit tour, Danny Howells, Nick Warren, AK1200 and more ... Above all else, one thing has stood the test of time: "The art and soul of the underground DJ set is all track selection, track pairing and sequencing. Build your train, tell the story. Everything else is monkey mechanics."
