Johnny Messina

Born in Montreal, Canada Johnny Messina grew up in a city rich and diverse in music styles. After many years on the sidelines of the music scene, he decided in 2005 to take the leap at making his passion a career. With a mixtape in his hand and hope in his heart he gave his music to a DJ and landed his first resident gig spinning for 1000+ club goers. After years of a career in the commercial electronic scene, he discovered the DJS who sculpted his sound to what it is today. Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Tenaglia, Guy J and John Digweed are his biggest inspirations. Since finding his true sound, Johnny has played alongside many talented local and international DJS in Montreal, Canada's most popular clubs (((Stereo bar))) and Circus Afterhours. Keep an eye out for this is one! He's coming your way with his first international tour in Argentina beginning this February 2015.
