Joan Retamero

Joan Retamero is a DJ and producer born in Rosario, Argentina. After long years of listening and learning music, he decided to officially start his career in early 2015. In November of that year, he released his first track her imagination and his planet in Hernan Cattaneo's SUDBEAT and took the decision to move to London in 2016 to study Sound Engineering at Point Blank Music School. By the end of the year, he made his official DJ debut in EGG London where he played in repeated occasions, along DJs like Nic Fanciulli, Pig & Dan, Mathias Kaden, David Squillace, duubspeka, Idris Elba to name a few. In 2017, he played for the first time at the one and only Ministry of Sound, where he shared the line-up with Paul Oakenfold. In 2018, he moved to Madrid and played in different clubs of the capital of Spain, and had his first presentation in Amsterdam Dance Event, one of the biggest music festivals in the world. In January 2019, he had the honor to be part of Sunset at Stonehenge, the prestigious Paul Oakenfold´s compilation including music from legends like Hans Zimmer, U2, Vangelis, Andrea Bocelli, Loudeast, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & many more. In February 2019, he made his official debut in Argentina, opening the night for Nick Warren in Metropolitano, Rosario. In March 2019, he was part of a very important line-up sharing the DJ booth with Patrice Bäumel and Mariano Mellino, in the re-open of The Warehouse, the most important electronic club in Rosario. With releases in Movement Recordings, Soundteller Records and a lot of music released and to be released in the legendary Perfecto, Joan is ready to keep achieving goals and success in the music scene.
