Hoops

Hoops is a music lover, enjoying it in all forms. His passion extends past the decks, being a competent drummer & bass player before taking up the turntables in late 2005. Watching and listening to the likes of Marc Romboy through to Mark Farina were important influences early on in developing the unique blend of deep, funky and tech house that has seen him play many well-received shows all over Melbourne, Australia and Indonesia. Hoops has held residencies at some of Melbourne's best nightspots including: OneSixOne, Secret Garden, Tramp, Circus and Revolver. After really making his mark on the Melbourne scene in 2008, there pretty much isn't a quality venue in Melbourne that Hoops is yet to jump behind the decks. He played his first festival at Future Entertainment's Global Gathering in 2008, followed by almost every other major dance music festival since. Once you blend his unique DJing style and sound, together with his musical abilities and passion for perfection you have what we believe to be a fantastic DJ. The past few years has seen Hoops further his skills in the studio with several records already released and plenty more to come.
