Hior Chronik

Hior Chronik was born in Athens in 1974. His relationship with music began with him working as a radio producer on Jazz FM as well as editor in several music magazines. Dealing with the music production started seven years ago and attention has turned to minimalist ambient piano patterns. His music has dressed several films, documentaries and art performances. and to his releases with partnerships constitute a core inspiration for him and motivation music production. He has released four solo albums to Mu:Nest and Kitchen Label including many collaborations with artists like Masatoshi Fujita, Akira Kosemura, Sophie Hutchings, Field Rotation etc. and two albums together with Arovane at ASIP records. His second last release called “Out of the dust” released on 7K! Label last year. He plays the piano for Christian Loffler’s Ensemble and his new album released from Ki Records under the name “Hior” called Descent. It’s an electronic pop album influenced from Berlin music scene and his living there and it was produced last spring.
