Hernan B

Originally from Venezuela, currently based between Panama and Houston, Hernan grew up loving electronic music and technology ever since he can remember. His first gig as a DJ was back in the late ‘90s while going to college in Funky Town, TX. He was a regular at local bars and played across different genres due to the international scene he used to frequent. His sound has no boundaries. You will find a reflection of his diverse upbringing and taste in his sets and productions. The best way to interpret his sound is “Electronic World Music” flowing across different genres. Not only will his live sets get you moving but they will also take you on a journey through various emotions. In addition to the traditional DJ set, he also performs a hybrid set that includes more of his personal touch and live creativity. This year he was a resident at El Sitio @ Playa Venao, Panama where he was also a part of the lineup at the “Radio Venao Gathering”, which features important international and local artists. Also, this year he was a guest performing a hybrid live set for SIMS (Selina International Music Summit). Currently, he is focusing on production and is about to release his latest track: Rumbae, a fusion of electronic sounds and samples with Latin roots.
