Andres, known as Hakuna, is a Miami-based DJ and music producer driven by a deep appreciation for dance music and the culture surrounding it. In a city overflowing with DJs, Hakuna sets himself apart through a broad knowledge of music, an instinct for digging beyond the obvious, and a willingness to explore sounds across genres and generations. His philosophy is simple: don’t try to be the moment, provide for it. Hakuna has performed across multiple cities and at some of Miami’s most recognized venues and events, including iii Points, Factory Town, Jolene, and Floyd. Whether producing in the studio or behind the decks, his approach is rooted in curiosity, musicality, and a genuine respect for the art of dance music. Above all, Hakuna hopes to share that appreciation with the people on the other side of the booth, the ones dancing with him.
