Guz

Guz started doing by the end of the 90s, playing music for his friends alongside his older brother who introduced him to the electronic music scene. Since then, he has built his own path through more than 20 years of experience till present, playing in many gigs through South America with many popular scene DJs, at iconic and well-known venues mainly in Buenos Aires- his home town. During these years, he has also had the pleasure of performing in radio stations specialised in electronic music. Having a notorious passion for music, Guz led a teaching programme at a Dj school where he taught advanced techniques and shared his knowledge. Based in New Zealand since 2019, Guz continues to explore his passion. Together with his business partner and friend Eichenbaum, they have created a progressive house event cycle based on Waiheke Island known as 'Lift Me High', which has had an outstanding response from the crowd. Apart from performing live, they have a Podcast where they deliver two hours of music once a month, where the greatest DJs from the scene are invited to share their productions and records. His music reflects his soul, and he believes it is a must when performing. His greatest asset as a DJ is that he works towards creating an atmosphere that connects everyone as one, by taking the crowd into a deep melodic journey. “During my sets, I seek unity under the same universal language: we are all equal and we share the same feelings”. He loves playing deep melodies which make people not only feel good and relaxed, but also excited and vibrant: “I really enjoy engaging people progressively as I build up the vibe through hypnotic beats”.
