GLDNSMK + Cosmo Cater

Two of Brisbane’s premier DJs, GLDNSMK (pronounced Golden Smoke) and Cosmo Cater have united to bring their extensive experience to bear on a new project which takes them both into uncharted territory. Crispy Katsu Sandwich started life as a shared playlist but then quickly morphed into a back to back DJ project and series of mixes, with more to come. The style of music is difficult to completely define, but it does emphasise music with a crunch, be it dubby acid house, crispy breakbeats, wonky techno and upfront garage. It’s a feeling and a sound that crosses genres, with both DJs working to continually refine the sound. When not playing back to back, both DJs enjoy successful solo careers.
