Floloco

As kid of the 80s Floloco, or Florian with his real name, has a couple decades of experience in electronic music. No matter if playing live or compiling a mix, he is always striving to create an emotional experience. Some call it storytelling, a journey. "I think, this is just what DJ’ing should be about“ to put it in his own words. He spends as many hours, days or weeks as required for the track selection to fit together. And to create something whole. The result usually is not easy to pigeonhole since he likes to move across genres. He likes to build up the vibe and then releasing towards the end of a set. If you feel it, the mission is accomplished! Electronic music is Florian's passion ever since. Aiming to spread the music he loves further resulted in founding Schirmchendrink, the globally regarded collective with the delicious cocktails and an incredibly hard-to-pronounce name. Floloco is further one half of the deep electronica duo Gimérique, together with Belgium’s Bigasti. Gimérique just released its first release on Sound Avenue this winter, a dreamy take on Hummingbird by Lerr.
