Emel Rowe is from Melbourne, Australia however is currently based in Manila where he DJ's professionally. One half of the pop up party series “Sygns” and promoter for the #iwasthere group. He hopes to develop an avenue for high profile international acts to play in front manila locals and at the same time and bridge the gap from the established underground scene in manila to the uninitiated weekend warrior. Emel Rowe keeps busy with a residency at TIME and numerous gigs across the metro. A Self titled attention deficit DJ Emel Rowe finds himself bouncing between House, Techno and Disco. Emel Rowe has been fortunate enough to be taken under the wings of the techno fairy godfathers of Manila's underground. They have helped mold his attitude towards the art and musical tastes for Manila's aural pleasure. Emel Rowe also hates talking in the third person and doesn’t want to be another cliché so here I am with a little less cheese. My career has really only just started. Watch this space.
