El Reyalto

El Reyalto, aka Steve Chipman, has been a fixture on Friskyradio for almost a decade. His show, Tech Coast Tribal, is the longest running weekly program on Friskyadio, focusing on driving tribal beats. His love for house music stems from the years he spent in San Francisco during the creation of the scene there and more recently his move to LaLaLand. Known for an almost encyclopedic knowledge of dance music, he is often spotted out and about at most of the major club events, easily identifiable given his height (6'8") and his penchant for wearing a crown from time to time.
In early 2004, El Reyalto joined fellow rabid house fan Marc Gottlieb to create Sugar Ant Invasion. The duo crafts a distinctive sound from their love of house music with Marc favoring the dirty, tribal funk of East Coast house whereas Steve prefers the warm, Latin-tinged Balearic house. This range of house music influences allows the duo the luxury of getting the night started or driving some nasty groove until the early morning hours, taking clubbers with them as they invade dancefloors from coast to coast.
