Diego Azocar

Diego Azocar was born in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. His years as a DJ went through many bars of his hometown and eventually opening his mind was listening to different styles of music. Until he found a particular style that marked tendency in his musical life. In his first knowledge of electronic music was influential Knukles Frankie, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Danny Tennaglia, Sasha, Carl Cox, the most important pioneers of house music. As time was listening to other styles like techno, tech house, deep house, deep progressive house, indie, chill out, ambient, etc.. Many varieties inspired him to scoot to produce, so he listened to artists such as Henry Saiz, Guy J, Guy Gerber, John Digweed, Oxia, Ormatie, Cora Novoa, Christian Smith, Soundexile, Nick Warren, Marc Poppcke, Stelios Vassiloudis, Microtrauma, Martin Garcia, Denis A, Marc Marzenit, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Layo & Bushwacka, Quivver, Secret Cinema, Monaque, Kassey Voorn, Slam, 16 Bit Lolitas, Funk D Void, Jeff Bennett, Jamie Steven, Ioan Odonovan, Marc Cooper, Dousk, Omid 16 bit, Deep Mariano, Dark Soul Project, Luis Junior, Cid Inc, among others. It just took little time, and Diego produced tracks for labels like Santos Recordings, also a Norman Hines compilation under the seal Stripped Digital Recording, attended by several renowned artists from the Argentinian electronic scene. He also signed the track hits RECALL (remixes) in Baires Record, which was used by Hernan Cattaneo in his radioshow number 078 and in the 2012 edition of Creamfields held in Buenos Aires Capital and other national artists. Lately Diego is working hard on a new track, always setting the progressive style especially touched by Argentinian DJ Hernan Cattaneo and other artists. Now as a Dj he is not well known nationally, since in his country it is very difficult to get into the electronic scene, so he turned to production to gain entry that way with more effort and dedication - always looking for new sounds that are unlike others.
