Deep Within

Jeronimo Lopez Amadori aka Deep Within was born in February of 1989 and raised in Buenos Aires. He felt his attraction to the first synths, rhythm boxes, and sub's on sounds generated by bands or producers like Chemicals Brothers, Moby, Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Portishead, Prodigy, Faithless, etc. But his greatest curiosity and understanding of electronic music genres came years later. This search and discovery of electronic music was accompanied by the desire to manipulate and mix those styles. That is why he started taking classes with Juan Pryor, renowned DJ of Buenos Aires, who taught him the concepts of the mixing, and then he had his first contact with DJ system, mixers, wires and CDJ’s. Today we can find in Deep Within podcast's -Natural Movement- sounds loaded with deep bass lines, and more groovy sounds of Deep and Deep Tech House. He was part of the first online radio on 320 kpbs known as Serial Clubbers -with Seitan, M. Corrisco, Gaston Katz, among others- which was weekly broadcasted. In 2014, he decided to build his own electronic music cycle where you could hear sounds of Progressive, Deep, Tech House and Techno: this cycle was named ‘Bassement - Eclectic Sounds’ and it started taking place in Requiem Club -mythical club of under electronic music in the 90’s- and today has taken its place in Bahrein and Shamrock Basement, two of the clubs with more history of Buenos Aires. He was pleased to share the DJ booth with DJs as Madloch (Belgium), Facundo Mohrr, Ariel Rodz, Juan Deminicis, Sound Process, Luis Santoro, Kevin Toro, Corei, Ale Russo, Maxi Hass, and many more. Today with Seitan, his friend and colleague, they are in charge of the Bassement productions, looking to make the difference with their events, where they never lack of good music and good energy transmitted by their audience. Recently, he sealed their first EP by the name of Eclectic Sounds, under the Label Mystic Carousel Records, and it was part of a V/A for Balkan Connection South America. This will be the kick off for a new phase for him as a producer. This is how slowly Deep Within is gaining a place in the under electronic scene, through booths of various nightclubs such as Bahrein - SSX and Funky Room, Niceto - Side B, Canata - Ituzaingo, La Piramide, Requiem club, Miloca, Un Jefe - Quilmes, among others.
