The events leading to the formation of this odd pair are shrouded in secrecy... mostly due to the fact that both their memories are just slightly too hazy to provide accurate details. D & D, the duo consisting of Dan & Deez do not consider to label themselves as Techno artists, but more of a blend of the latter and an eclectic, underground, and mysterious harmony of Deep House, Electronic and Minimal, with a futuristic yet vintage touch. Their influences are deeply rooted from Rock but are now enhanced by the influences of legendary talents such as Radiohead, Modeselektor, Ben Klock, DVS1 and Marcel Dettmann. With a well-deserved residency at the internationally renowned Stereo Nightclub in Montreal, D&D also have had the chance to play alongside respected artists such as Joseph Capriati, Dubfire, Shaded, Dandi & Ugo, Misstress Barbara, Ron Costa, Alex Di Stefano, Ange Kore, Erphun, Subfractal, D-Unity, Octave, Ovi M, Go!Diva, and not to mention legendary local artists, Maher Daniels, Creator and Ostrich. Furthermore, after four years of playing together, Dan & Deez have gotten into the production world and are currently working on some major projects. Their sounds can be anticipated to involve a smooth infusion of Deep House, Techno and Melodic resonances. D&D have come to understand that their chemistry goes beyond the realm of musical preference. They symbolize an attitude and a lifestyle only a select few want, and are able, to be a part of. Whether it be in the Studio or out in the world looking for inspiration, this dynamic duo are constantly honing their craft with only two goals in mind.
