David Cano is the person who is behind the artist d file, he is not a novice to the music industry. Only a few years ago he was resident DJ at the Ei Two club in Barcelona Djing to the sounds of House for a duration of approx 2 years until his curiosity took him to explore and try new sounds. As a result of this he had a conflict of musical tastes with the owner of the club "who only was interested in playing House" so therefore decided to leave. During this period he hosted a radio program on a local radio channel called Future Sound of which he played his new tendencies of music. David never lost passion or heart for his love of music in a time of personal family and professional crisis of which have prevented him to return to the club scene. During this period of time he played at several exclusive private parties at Monasterio de Piedra in Zaragoza. Later in time due to new circumstances in his current life, he has been able to re-focus and direct his passion back to the music scene, where the artist d file is born. Through the artist d file he puts together all his musical knowledge he has gained over the years. D file plans to mix passed musical influences and orientate them to the future and now dedicating his time to producing music professionally. D file's influences are based on the old Progressive House music scene such as the gigs of Sasha and James Zabiela and the sounds of the ever present James Holden in conjunction with the new tendencies of artist's such as John Talabot and Four Tet.
