Company Is Family

Company Is Family (Mark McEvoy), a producer from Liverpool, UK, has slowly embedded deep into the underground club culture, driven by a DJ'ing & promoting career within his home city whilst moving heavily into production and reeling out a flurry of electronic releases over the last 5 years. The musical tastes and production format interweave to include a range of deep dubby techno, linear house grooves and reductionist vibes, aiming to set new standards within a new world of high-end club music and tastes. His first full debut release was out on ‘District Raw’ (label of Fabio Giannelli (Get Physical & Innervisions)) back in December 2013 and the track ‘Around Your Fingers’ featured on the EP, remained as the number 1 seller on Beatport for the label for almost 12 months and was even charted at number 2 by Mr Fingers himself – Larry Heard – not bad for a first release! Since the debut EP further tracks have been released on the mighty Tenampa Records, New Violence Records, 3B Records Vinyl and his very own beloved, Øscillate Records - partnered and powered by brothers Marc Williams & Michael Dowding. Remixes of his work include Spencer Parker, Alex Celler, and Masomenos - something to proud and a clear sign that he is firmly on the yellow brick road. In terms of being the DJ - he can be heard playing solo sets which you can expect anything from his own mind-bending production to his vast knowledge of electronic music. A wealth of over 16 years experience will carve away at your imagination during every show.
