Ciprian Lemnaru

Biography

Ciprian Lemnaru started his career as a Producer 20 years ago immediately after graduating from the George Enescu College of Music where he studied the Piano and the Trombone wind instrument. He started producing for one of the biggest pop rock bands in Romania (Directia 5) and working with analog synthesizers and mixers helped him to understand and experiment more in electronic music. In 2014, with the help of AWAL, he founded his own label called Woodchopper Records, where he released his first track, a remix under the alias "Woodchopper" of the song "So Far" produced by the American artist Miguel Migs. A series of singles and EP's follow, including another remix of the song "Blue Jeans" performed by Lana Del Rey. In 2015 he signed his first publishing contract as an author and producer, a contract that is still underway with K9 Music Publishing / Warner Chappell, and this brings him face to face with other top international authors and producers in music production sessions this being one of the important things in its development. He was also part of several music groups for which he produced debut albums (Replik, INSOUND, Antarctica, Block Division, Electronik Live). For him, electronic music remains and will be the one that defines it and this can be seen in the last studio album released in May 2022 entitled "Return 2 Ecstasy" album containing 12 tracks covering a wide range of electronic music from Deep House to Techno and Progressive House.
