Chris Mozio

Just out of his teens Chis Mozio felt in love with electronic music. During the 90’s and as the electronic scene was getting bigger and bigger in Greece, Chris caught the music virus even though his family backround had nothing to do with music. Born and raised in Volos Greece, at the age of 18 he moved to Thessaloniki in order to study at the Macedonian University Bussiness and Finance. With no much time available and a lot of studying for the University, Chris bought his first set of turntables and started spinning a wide range of electronic music mostly based on progressive house. Inspired by world famous dj’s such as John Digweed, Nick Warren, Sasha etc, Chris makes his first attempts to release his own productions along promising Greek artists at the time such as Nikola Gala. Coming to today and after more than 12 years trying, Chris has accomplished to program his tracks to sound straight, deep, housy, dubby as he elegantly fuses elements from House Music to Progressive and Ambient, establishing this way himself in the Greek scene and not only. Chris’s tracks have gained support from big names of the electronic dance scenen such us Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Paul Van Dyk, Dave Seaman, Carl Cox, Satoshi Tommie, Jerome Isma-Ae, Marcus Schulz, Nic Fanciulli. His productions have been released in labels like Vapour, Deep, Baroque, Movement, to name a few.
