Chachou

CHACHØU [shah-shoo] is a French DJ and producer based in Ireland, and co-founder of Mindset and Into The Void collectives. Shaped by years immersed in the underground scenes of Canada and Europe, her sound flows across indie dance, groovy tech house, dirty basslines, melodic elements and techno. Her sets move between high energy and deeper stories, always guided by the feeling of the room. Known for her ability to build long, evolving journeys, she has delivered extended DJ sets since her return to Ireland in 2024 across Dublin and Cork, in venues such as Izakaya, Pawn Shop, Wigwam, Yamamori Tengu, Racket Space, The Pav, The Kino and Liquid Lounge, and various late bars. She has also performed Downtempo/ Tribal sets through her co-owned workshop “Rewilding” at festivals including All Together Now, Fuinneamh, and Féile Solas. Along the way, she has shared the stage with Korolova, Dense & Pika, Truncate, Anyasa, Kasablanca, Gene Farris, Ardalan, HNTR, and Nancy Live, while performing across Ireland, Mexico, the USA, British Columbia (Canada), the Netherlands, and Germany, further cementing her place in the global underground. Whether playing intimate late-night rooms or larger dancefloors, her focus remains on taking the crowd on a journey: creating movement, flow, and genuine connection. Alongside performing, she curates exhibitions, retreats, festivals, and community-driven projects. Her most recent project is based in Cork City, where she co-launched Into The Void in 2025, a bi-monthly event series at The Pav, focused on immersive nights with strong visuals and a high-quality sound system. For KLUB KULTUR RADIO, CHACHØU delivers a high-energy indie dance and house/tech house mix, built around dirty basslines, disco touches, and melodic moments.
