Cendryma

Hailing from the verdant landscapes of Oregon, USA, Daniel Sampson a.k.a. Cendryma weaves the raw power of nature into the fabric of his music. Growing up in the lush Pacific Northwest, Cendryma's sound mirrors the elements, with rain samples, driving basslines, and darker tones reflecGng the region's moody winters. His composiGons are deeply textured, blending capGvaGng melodies with dynamic, emoGve atmospheres. Daniel began his electronic music journey in 2007, but it wasn’t unGl 2017 that he publicly released his first Trance tracks under the Tecnosine alias. By 2020, he exclusively pursued Downtempo, marking his first major creaGve transiGon. His early career was shaped by trance, but as Gme passed, he grew constrained by its rigid structures. In 2022, he introduced the Sam Cydan moniker, debuGng his first major release under the new name. That same year, the pandemic spurred his exploraGon of Progressive House, culminaGng in the birth of Cendryma in 2023, a project that truly embodies his evolving sound and creaGve vision. Influenced by arGsts like Alex O’Rion, GMJ & MaWer, and Anjunadeep’s Marsh, Cendryma has shaped his signature sound in Progressive House, steering clear of convenGonal boundaries. His producGons flow organically, evolving over Gme, while his label, ‘Cydana Sounds,’ serves as an inGmate plaYorm for his musical exploraGons. With tracks like "FuncGon" and his debut EP Terraform/Wired gaining recogniGon, his recent release, "Pass Through," on PurrfecGon Records, is already making huge waves. As he looks to the future, Cendryma is set to expand his influence in the global Progressive House scene with upcoming releases on labels like PaWern and UV, conGnuing to refine and evolve his sound. His journey has only just begun
