Brad Ashwell

Raised on the Space Coast of Florida, Brad Ashwell was inspired to learn the craft of DJ’ing during the acid house era of the late 80’s. After relocating to Tallahassee, he maintained many weekly residencies throughout the 90’s and 00’s, while also working in record stores, studying multiple instruments, and the art of production. As a musician he has mostly focused on afro-cuban percussion, piano and guitar. In recent years he's hosted events for many different styles of music under the banners of Submersive Sounds and Open House Conspiracy. Ashwell is currently focused on production with a new single set for release this month on Dance Artifakts.
