Deeper Sounds was founded by Andy Eastough in October 2012. The brand started out as a Mix Series followed shortly after by the launch of the Radio Show on Mixlr in February 2013. Focusing initially on new talent from around the globe with the introduction of more established artists being added to the shows the likes of Darius Syrossian, Camilo Franco, David Morales & Coyu along with brand showcases from ELROW and Pacha Ibiza. Expanding on the shows growing popularity and to increase its listener base, Deeper Sounds moved all programming to 06AM Ibiza Underground Radio in April 2015 securing the 8pm – 10pm slot every Sunday. The biggest move for the brand took place on the 1st April 2017 and the launch of Deeper Sounds on British Airways In-Flight Radio. De La Swing (ELROW), Paul Hardcastle (19), Martin Smith (Deeper Sounds) & Andy Eastough were chosen to provide the soundtrack for the inaugural show with Maxine Hardcastle on voiceover duties. Firmly established as a strong addition to British Airways In-Flight Radio, Deeper Sounds was quick to secure International Music Summit (IMS) and ÏUMAG Ibiza as official partners to the show. October 2017 welcomed the introduction of IMS Keynotes into the Deeper Sounds show. Positioned midway through the broadcast, the shows introduction was the responsibility of one of the founders of International Music Summit and Radio One DJ Pete Tong. Fast forward to May 2018 and Deeper Sounds announced the addition of three brand new shows to British Airways In-Flight Radio. All Day I Dream of Deeper Sounds with Lee Burridge & Guests. Bestival & Camp Bestival Founder Rob da Bank with The Sunrise Show and IMS would launch The Keynote Show. Keynotes that previously featuring during Deeper Sounds would now have their own stand alone show. As the show continues to provide exclusive content from the finest Artists & Brands from around the globe, a fifth show has just been confirmed to launch on the 1st January 2019. French born DJ / Producer Agoria will bring his playlist themed show ‘Drift’ to British Airways In-Flight Radio. Since the launch of Deeper Sounds on British Airways in April 2017, the show has reached a staggering 54,000.000 passengers (1st October 2018) Aside from curating the five Deeper Sounds shows, Andy has also been responsible for the upload of Maya Jane Coles ‘Take Flight’, Henry Saiz ‘Balance Presents Natura Sonoris’ and Loco Dice ‘Love Letters’ to British Airways In-Flight Radio.
