Biography

My contact with music comes from the 80s. My father, a jazz drummer, introduced me to the music when I was very young and fall in love was inevitable. In the 90s, I started going to nightclubs in Sao Paulo. It was when I got fully involved with dance music. I touched the turntables at the first time in 2004. My presence in nightclubs specialized in electronic music began to be more frequent, and I started practicing DJing with more enthusiasm. Soon I discovered the underground scene of São Paulo and got involved with it. This experience made me have contact with several music styles and artists from the underground electronic music universe that fed these parties with new stuff. The clubs Susi In Transe and Lov.e were the best representations of the movement at that time. In June 2006, I was invited by spanish stylist, Sergio Obregon, to go to Valencia, Spain, and play at the launch of his collection. That was my first international tour. I played for two months on the beaches of southern Spain (Alicante, Benidorm and Andalucia). Back in Brazil, I worked at the audio production company, Scratch Studios, where I had the opportunity to learn more about the music business. In this period I had contact with many important artists, including Click Box, the producer Pablo Muniz and DJ Juliano Brandao. The parties and clubs I performed in Brazil are: Tribos Urbanas, Swing, Sunday Away, Insomnia, Tapa na Pantera, Rebordose Eletrônica, Eletróla, Loucos por Festinha, Afternoon by the pool, Super-After, Deep Trance, Dope, Forward, Clube A, Duplex, Bar Secreto, Mono, Bar13, Susi In Transe, DRY, Alberta3, Tostex, The Week, Disco, D-Edge, Lions Nightclub, Casa92, Absolut Inn, Club688/POA, Complex Atlântida and many others. In 2010 I was invited to play at Casa92 as resident DJ. The club gave me plenty of visibility and opened many doors. Currently I maintain that residence, and also at Club688, in Porto Alegre, and at We Love Beats parties. I define my profile with exclusive sets with several musical styles. I update my music channels periodically with sets of e-music with the profiles: Jaguar, my alter ego, and Stereo System, an underground house music project. This is the way to keep my music research always well updated.
