Alan Dobson

Mixing it like an 80's magician.... Alan Dobson is a DJ and promoter from Scotland, who has been crafting house/techno music for over 2 decades. Probably most well known for his early adoption and promotion of passive and harmonic transitions. Previously you would have found him playing and promoting club nights namely Progression in Edinburgh, bringing a multitude of pioneering acts to Scotland over 10 years. Currently Alan promotes and is resident at Spektrum, so keeps regular dates in his home town of Dundee, while playing as quarterly resident at the Capitals biggest techno and house night Musika/Nightvision. Topping this Alan is also proud to be a resident at the legendary Rhumba Club in Tayside Scotland that has been running for over 20 years. Alan supported Sasha on his involv3r tour and has supported many of the woulds finest DJ's including this years Cocoon world tour with Sven Vath. A mainstay in the Scottish house scene, a man of musical integrity Alan's known for playing up front tracks with the ability to adapt to the style of music of the guest. Playing the Exit Festival Festival in Serbia saw Alan play at one of Europes biggest festivals in 2014, after playing Biggest festivals like Rockness, Tribal Gathering and T in the Park in Scotland in previous years.
